I believe love transforms life.
In surrounding ourselves with people who love and accept us we find where we belong and thrive.
-Leanne Spromberg
About Leanne
I consider myself blessed to assist parents in providing care for the newest addition to their family. It can be helpful for a family to have support from me during such a vulnerable, and exciting time that is often filled with unexpected challenges. With each role, I establish plans with parents that provide a brave space for personal service, bespoke childcare, and careful documentation. Through a variety of experiences, I leverage exceptional communication skills and business experience with notable success in childcare.
I believe wisdom is passed through sharing stories of lived experiences. This practice is encouraged within the Modern community. I find this approach creates connections and helps to spread the ultimate human power: love.
I have over a decade of experience serving growing families. Working with children and families brings me joy and I continue learning and growing with every experience. I am highly skilled in working with singletons, multiples, and toddlers. I studied Early Childhood Education at North Seattle College and am a Certified Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist, Lactation Educator, and Child Passenger Safety Technician.
Being an active member of my community is important to me and the work I do. I volunteer regularly at Evergreen and Children’s Hospitals, educating and supporting families in car seat safety and installation.
Vision
Cultivating connections, while creating access to knowledge and high-quality services.
Gratitude
Modern pays real rent to the Duwamish Tribe. Modern recognizes services are offered to families on the unyielded, traditional land of the Duwamish People, Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the first people of Kirkland and Seattle, they are the rightful original life-givers and stewards of the land, past, and present.
Diversity
Modern creates a brave space by encouraging wisdom to be shared, celebrating diversity, and empathy is deepened.
